My ceramic practice explores texture, movement, and the quiet presence that clay can hold. My work reflects how I move through everyday life — at work, with friends, and within society. I want to be subtle and quiet, yet leave a strong impression. I hope my pieces feel necessary, like something that quietly belongs in someone’s daily life.

There is a sense of “待ちぼうけ” — waiting, being still — in my work. Each piece feels like a quiet figure, holding space, whispering rather than shouting. I imagine them waiting to meet the first person willing to notice them, to hold them, and to bring them into their lives.
